Thursday evening, July 14, at 5 pm in the Chabad Jewish Community Center, Alan Fletcher and Andrew Cohen, professor of physics at Boston University and a former president of the Aspen Center for Physics, will continue the conversation they started last summer about the science underlying music, discussing sound waves work, timbre, harmonics, acoustics, and more.

This summer, the Aspen Science Center and the Aspen Music Festival and School bring back the popular Science of Music series of lectures and demonstrations aimed at the "enthusiastic novice."
