Rocket Camp

Calling all future astronauts and budding aerospace engineers!

The camp will start with the fundamentals of rocketry involving Newton’s laws of motion and expand from there to explore different rocketry topics such as altitude, velocity, acceleration, thrust, drag, and lift. Campers will explore these concepts by conducting hands-on experiments as well as building and launching a variety of rockets with air, water and solid-fuel propellants. At the end of the program, each camper will take home their own flight-ready model rocket!
